About the SDFV

The Scuba Divers Federation of Victoria (SDFV) is a volunteer organisation which was established in 1964 to promote diver safety and represent the interests of recreational scuba divers in Victoria.  The SDFV is an affiliation of recreational scuba diving clubs and provides a forum and network for the discussion and decision on matters related to the use of scuba.

The SDFV has a long and successful history in liaison and interaction with government and other recreational bodies in the promotion of recreational scuba diving.  The SDFV is committed to the public education and awareness of the vast diversity of Victoria’s underwater environment, and actively participates in the preservation and conservation of Victoria’s marine flora and fauna.
